Morris family… winter session Anchorage, AK

I love it when families are willing to brave the cold for a bit and head outdoors for their session. It’s always fun (and a bit crazy!) but so worth it. I adore the little pink noses and cheeks! The Prosperity Line by Avylan

I have been meaning to write this blog post for awhile now. I had the opportunity to work with Sharna Robbins and I’m so honored that she chose me to photograph her new line of shirts! Sweet newborn… Rohnen Zane

April 6, 2012 – 7:42 pm

This is one loved little boy who is going to have a life filled with adventures. He will grow up enjoying Alaska’s wonderful outdoors surrounded by his loving family and he will travel to South Africa and enjoy many adventures there as well. It’s obvious both mom and dad are smitten with their little boy and I’m honored to photograph this little sweetie. I’m excited to share a few images from his session. He was only 7 days old in these images.

1 year old cutie… Cade l First Birthday Portraits Anchorage Alaska l

March 9, 2012 – 3:55 pm

I’ts so fun to see the little guys on their first birthday! It’s amazing to see their change and personalities develop. At the studio we recommend newborn portraits, 6 month portraits (important that baby is sitting up) and a 1 year “Smash the Cake” session! Laura likes to catpure the milestones not necissarily the months. The baby plan includes 3 sessions during the year and an 8×10 print from each session. Clients that choose the baby plan are eliglible for discounts only offered to clients on the “First year plan”.

Celebrating motherhood… l Anchorage maternity photographer l

March 9, 2012 – 2:23 pm

I love photographing maternity sessions! It’s such a special time for a woman and scheduling a maternity session is a good way to catpure the beauty that will soon fade. I know women often feel “huge” and “not beautiful” but I have heard time and time again from clients they are glad they booked a session. The best time to book a maternity session is about 32-35 weeks.

Here is a peak from a recent maternity session. We are all waiting for this little baby to arrive… very soon! I know mommy is ready to have her sweet little baby in her arms but doesn’t she just “glow” in these maternity portraits!
